The basic rules game in Mini Lotto are uncomplicated and simple, they are very similar to those known from Lotto. The main difference is the total number of numbers to be marked, one bet is indicating five out of 42. There are three methods to place bets, which ensures that the game is generally available for a wide group of players. You can send your ticket at any stationary point, which can be found in practically every city. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and then they will be read and written on the ticket, you can also decide to bet on the method "quick pick". With this solution all numbers are randomly selected by the registration machine. On the form you can indicate up to a maximum of 10 bets, there are no restrictions related to the total number of forms. Additionally when playing Mini Lotto players can use the so-called Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number placed on the ticket. The Super Chance can be marked in the special place on the form.

Bets in Mini Lotto can also be placed through the Lotto.pl site and in the dedicated application Lotto installed on phones. Play via the app and online has many advantages, you don't have to look for the nearest point, because you can do everything from anywhere, if only have internet access. Another benefit of this type of play is the individual player account. On this account are recorded bets placed by players, there is an option to browse the earlier history, and withdrawals and deposits of funds. Very useful is the so-called subscription, which during its activity allows participation in the certain number of subsequent games.

As for Mini Lotto with system play you can mark from six to twelve numbers, from 42 from the general pool. The chances of winning increases significantly with each of the subsequent numbers, because the total number of simple bets, which result from all possible combinations. For example 6-number system will translate into 7 single bets, a 7-number system will be 21 individual bets, and for 12 numbers it will be as many as 792. During system play the amount of the prize is multiplied, because besides the one from hitting the most numbers an additional amount is added from the higher tiers.

The simplest bet for the Mini Lotto costs only 1.5 PLN, and you can play for an amount up to 400 thousand PLN. The bet costs are identical for all methods of its purchase - it doesn't matter if it is the Lotto.pl site, application or stationary point. It will not change due to hand filling the form or choosing the method "quick pick". Expanding the ticket with the Super Chance option costs an additional 2 PLN. As for system play the final fee will depend on how many numbers will be selected. With 6 the bet will cost 9 PLN, with 7 - 31.50 PLN, and for 12 - 1188 PLN.

During the first years all draws Mini Lotto were held exactly the same, as the standard draws Lotto, that is on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. In mid-April 2014 they were extended to Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and since early December 2015 they are held every day. In this game the winnings are fives, fours, and threes, in proportions given by the regulations. The prize pool is half of the sum of bets paid by players, for this reason for each draw it may vary.
