At that period the game was called differently, namely Express Lotek, and under this logo it ran until 2009. It should also be mentioned, that the game Mini Lotto was suspended in 1998 for two years, but later returned under player pressure. As statistics show, it is still very popular, despite the fact, that the highest prizes are smaller than for example in standard Lotto. The basic rules Mini Lotto are simple and clear, they are very similar to those known from Lotto. The main difference is the total number of numbers to be selected, one bet is selecting five out of 42. There are three ways to place bets, which ensures that this game is generally available for practically every player. You can send your ticket at any stationary point, which can be found in practically every city. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and then they will be read and written on the ticket, you can also decide to method "quick pick". With this solution all numbers are randomly selected by the registration machine. On one form you can indicate up to 100 bets, there are no restrictions related to the total number of registered forms. To increase the winnings when playing Mini Lotto you can use the additional Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number placed on the ticket. The Super Chance is marked in the special place on the form.

All bets in Mini Lotto can also be placed online and in the dedicated application Lotto installed on smartphones. Play via the app and online has many advantages, you don't have to look for a stationary point, because you can do everything from anywhere, if only have internet access. It will not change due to hand marking numbers on the form or the method random selection by machine. Expanding the ticket with the Super Chance option costs an additional 2 PLN. With system play the final cost depends on how many numbers will be provided. With 6 for the bet you will have to pay 9 PLN, with 7 - 31.50 PLN, and for 12 - 1188 PLN.

Initially draws Mini Lotto were held exactly the same, as the standard draws Lotto, that is every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Since mid-April 2014 they were extended to Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and since early December 2015 they are held daily. Players play to win something - so it is worth learning something more about it, how the prizes look like in Mini Lotto. In this game the winnings are fives, fours, and threes, in proportions established by the regulations. The total prize pool is exactly half of the sum of all bets, for this reason in each draw it will probably have a different amount. When there are prizes in each category, then for the fives 50% of the available prize pool is allocated, and for the fours and threes respectively 20% and 30%. If in the draw a five did not fall, then the fours will have 40% of the total pool, and the threes the rest. The highest win so far was in 2015, and its amount was almost 400 thousand PLN, in the past there have also been several prizes in an amount greater than 300 thousand PLN.
