The basic rules Mini Lotto game are clear and simple, resembling those known to many people from Lotto. The main difference is the number of numbers to be marked, one bet is selecting five from the group 42. There are three ways to place bets, which ensures that the game is generally available for a wide group of players. Tickets can be sent at any stationary point, which can be found in practically every city. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and in that case they will be read and written on the ticket, you can also decide to bet "quick pick". With this solution all numbers are randomly selected by the machine in the point. On one form you can indicate up to ten bets, there are no restrictions related to the total number of forms. Additionally when playing Mini Lotto you can use the Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number placed on the ticket. The Super Chance is marked in the dedicated place on the form.

Bets in Mini Lotto can also be placed online and in the application Lotto installed on phones. Electronic play has many advantages, you don't have to look for the nearest point, because you can do everything from anywhere, if you have internet access. An additional benefit of this type of play is the individual player account. In the case of system play the final fee depends on how many numbers will be marked. In the case of 6 for the bet you will have to pay 9 PLN, in the case of 7 - 31.50 PLN, and for 12 - 1188 PLN.

For the initial period all draws of the Mini Lotto were held exactly the same, as the standard draws Lotto, that is every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. In 2014, in April they were extended to Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and since early December 2015 they are held every day. Players play mostly to win some prize - so it is worth learning something more about it, how the prizes look like in Mini Lotto. In this game the winnings are fives, fours, and threes, in proportions given by the regulations. The total prize pool is exactly half of the sum of all bets, therefore in each draw it will probably be different. When there are prizes in all categories, then for the fives 50% of the total prize pool is allocated, and for the fours and threes respectively 20% and 30%. If in the draw a five was not drawn, then the fours receive 40% of the pool, and the threes the rest. The highest amount so far was in 2015, and its amount was almost 400 thousand PLN, in the past there have also been many winnings of a value greater than 300 thousand PLN.
