The basic rules Mini Lotto are simple and clear, very similar to those known from Lotto. The main difference is the total number of numbers to be typed, one bet is indicating five from the group 42. There are three ways to place bets, which ensures that this game is generally available for a wide group of players. Tickets can be sent at any stationary point, which can be found in practically every place. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and in that case they will be read and written on the ticket, and you can also decide to bet on the method "quick pick". In this case all numbers are randomly selected by the machine in the point. On the paper form you can indicate up to ten single bets, there are no restrictions related to the number of paid forms. To increase the winnings when playing Mini Lotto you can use the so-called Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number printed on the ticket. The Super Chance is marked in the dedicated place on the form.

All bets in Mini Lotto can also be placed on the Lotto.pl site and in the application Lotto on smartphones. Play in digital form has many advantages, you don't have to look for some point, because you can do everything from anywhere, if only have the internet. An additional benefit of this type of play is the access to the personal account. On this account are recorded placed bets, there is an option to check the history so far, and withdrawals and deposits of funds. One bet for the Mini Lotto costs only 1.5 PLN, and you can even play up to 400 thousand PLN. The bet costs are the same for every method of its purchase - it doesn't matter if it is the online service, dedicated application or stationary outlet. It will not change due to marking numbers on the form by hand or choosing the option random selection by machine. Expanding the ticket with the Super Chance option costs an additional 2 PLN. With system play the final cost will depend on how many numbers will be marked. With 6 for the bet you will have to pay 9 PLN, with 7 - 31.50 PLN, and for 12 - 1188 PLN.

At the very beginning all draws of the Mini Lotto were held exactly the same, as the standard draws Lotto, that is on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Since mid-April 2014 they were extended to Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and since early December 2015 they are held every day. People play to win something - so it is worth learning something more about it, how the prize pool looks like in Mini Lotto. In this game the winnings are threes, fours, and fives, in proportions given by the regulations. The entire prize pool is half of the sum of bets paid by players, therefore in each draw it will vary. When there are prizes in each category, then for the only fives 50% of the prize pool is allocated, and for the fours and threes respectively 20% and 30%. But if in the draw a five was not drawn, then the fours will have 40% of the total pool, and the threes the entire rest. The highest amount so far was in 2015, and its amount was almost 400 thousand PLN, in the past there have also been several prizes of a value greater than 300 thousand PLN.
