The basic rules Mini Lotto are simple and clear, they are very similar to those known from Lotto. The main difference is the total number of numbers to be selected, one bet is selecting five out of 42. There are three ways to place bets, which ensures that the game will be available for every player. You can send your ticket at all stationary points, which can be found in every locality. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and in that case they will be read and written on the ticket, you can also decide to bet on the method "quick pick". In this case all numbers are randomly selected by the registration device. On one form you can indicate up to a maximum of 10 bets, there are no restrictions related to the total number of forms. Additionally when playing Mini Lotto you can use the Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number placed on the ticket. The Super Chance can be marked in the special place on the form.

Bets in Mini Lotto can also be placed on the Lotto.pl site and with the dedicated application Lotto on smartphones. Electronic play has many advantages, you don't have to look for a place with a point, because you can do everything regardless of the place, if you have the internet. It will not change due to hand marking numbers on the form or choosing the option "quick pick". Expanding the ticket with the Super Chance option costs an additional 2 PLN. Initially all draws of the Mini Lotto were held exactly the same, as draws Lotto, that is every two days, from Tuesday to Saturday. In this game the prize is a three, four, and five, in proportions recorded in the regulations. The prize pool is exactly half of the total amount of paid bets, for this reason with each draw it will vary.
