History of the game Mini Lotto is over four decades - the first draw was held at the end of March 1976. At that period the game was called differently, namely Express Lotek, and in this form it ran until 2009. Despite the name change the main rules remained unchanged, and to this day players regularly try to win the five drawn from 42 numbers. It should also be mentioned, that this exciting game was suspended in 1998 for several months, after which returned under player pressure. As statistics show, it is still very popular, despite the fact, that the prize pools are smaller than for example in Lotto. Smaller prize pools are due to the fact, that players pay a smaller stake for single bets, and due to the higher probability of winning which results from the drawn numbers and the number of balls. The rules Mini Lotto game are simple and clear, they are very similar to those known from Lotto. The main difference is the total number of numbers to be marked, one bet is marking five out of 42. There are three ways to place bets, which ensures that the game is generally available for a wide group of players. You can send your ticket at any stationary point, which can be found in practically every place. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and in that situation they will be read and written on the ticket, you can also decide to choose "quick pick". In this case all numbers are randomly selected by the registration device. On one form you can indicate up to 10 bets, there are no restrictions related to the total number of paid forms. To increase the winnings playing Mini Lotto players can use the Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number placed on the ticket. The Super Chance can be marked in the dedicated place on the form.

All bets in Mini Lotto can also be placed on the Lotto.pl site and via the dedicated application Lotto installed on smartphones. Play online and via the app has many advantages, you don't have to look for a stationary point, because you can do everything from anywhere, if only have access to the internet. An additional benefit of this type of solution is the individual player's account. On this account are recorded all player bets, there are options to browse the history, and withdrawals and deposits of funds. The bet costs are the same regardless of the method of its placement - it doesn't matter if it is the online service, phone application or stationary point. It will not change due to marking numbers on the form by hand or choosing the method random selection by device. Expanding the ticket with the Super Chance option costs an additional 2 PLN. With system play the final cost depends on how many numbers will be selected. With 6 the bet costs 9 PLN, with 7 - 31.50 PLN, and for 12 - 1188 PLN.

For the initial period all draws Mini Lotto were held exactly the same, as the standard draws Lotto, that is every two days, from Tuesday to Saturday. In 2014, in April they were extended to Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and since December 2015 they are held throughout the week. Everyone probably plays mostly to win something - so it is worth learning something more on this subject, how the prizes look like in Mini Lotto. In this game the winnings are threes, fours, and fives, in proportions established by the regulations. The entire prize pool is exactly half of the total amount of bets, therefore in each draw it will vary. If there are prizes in all categories, then for the only fives 50% of the available prize pool is allocated, for the fours 20% and the threes 30%. If in the draw no five fell, then the fours receive 40% of the pool, and the threes the entire rest. The highest win so far was in 2015, and its amount was almost 400 thousand PLN, in the past there have also been several prizes of a value greater than 300 thousand PLN.
