The basic rules game in Mini Lotto are simple and clear, very similar to those known from Lotto. The main difference is the total number of numbers to be marked, one bet is marking five out of 42. There are three ways to place bets, which ensures that the game will be available for every player. Tickets can be sent at stationary points, which can be found in practically every place. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and then they will be read and written on the ticket, you can also decide to bet on the method "quick pick". With this way all numbers are randomly selected by the registration device. On one form indicate up to 10 bets, there are no restrictions related to the total number of registered forms. Additionally when playing Mini Lotto players can use the so-called Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number placed on the ticket. The Super Chance is marked in the appropriate place on the form.

All bets in Mini Lotto can also be placed on the Lotto.pl site and in the application Lotto installed on smartphones. Play in digital form has many advantages, you don't have to look for some point, because you can do everything from anywhere, if only have access to the internet. During system play the amount of prizes is multiplied, because besides the one from hitting the most numbers an additional amount is added of other tiers.

One bet in the case of Mini Lotto costs only 1.5 PLN, and you can play for an amount up to 400 thousand PLN. The bet costs are identical for every method of its placement - it doesn't matter if it is the online service, dedicated application or stationary outlet. It will not change due to hand filling the form or the option "quick pick". Expanding the ticket with the Super Chance option costs an additional 2 PLN. With system play the final cost depends on how many numbers will be provided. In the case of 6 the bet will cost 9 PLN, in the case of 7 - 31.50 PLN, and for 12 - 1188 PLN.

For the first years draws Mini Lotto were held exactly the same, as draws Lotto, that is every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Since mid-April 2014 they were extended to Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and since December 2, 2015 they are held every day. People play mainly to win some money - so it is good to learning something more about it, how the prize pool looks like in Mini Lotto. In this game the prize is a three, four, and five, in proportions established by the regulations. The entire prize pool is exactly half of the sum of bets paid by players, therefore in each draw it will vary. When there are prizes in all categories, then for the fives 50% of the available prize pool is allocated, and for the fours and threes respectively 20% and 30%. If in the specific draw a five was not drawn, then the fours receive 40% of the total pool, and the threes the rest.
