History of the game Mini Lotto almost fifty years - the first official draw took place at the end of March 1976. At that time the game was called differently, namely Express Lotek, and in this form was present until 2009. Despite the name change the rules remained unchanged, and to this day players will try to win the money for the five drawn from 42 numbers. It should also be mentioned, that this popular game was suspended in 1998 for several months, but quite quickly it returned under player pressure. As statistics show, it still enjoys great popularity, despite the fact, that the highest prizes are smaller than for example in traditional Lotto. Smaller prize pools are due to the fact, that the stakes are smaller for single bets, and due to the higher probability of winning which results from the drawn numbers and the number of balls. The main rules game in Mini Lotto are simple and uncomplicated, very similar to those known from Lotto. The main difference is the total number of numbers to be marked, one bet is selecting five out of 42. There are three ways to place bets, which ensures that the game is generally available for a wide group of players. Tickets can be sent at stationary points, which can be found in practically every city. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and then they will be read and written on the ticket, you can also decide to bet "quick pick". In this case all numbers are randomly selected by the machine in the point. On one form you can indicate up to a maximum of ten single bets, there are no restrictions related to the number of registered forms. Additionally when playing Mini Lotto you can use the Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number printed on the ticket. The Super Chance is marked in the appropriate place on the form.

Bets in Mini Lotto can also be placed online and with the dedicated application Lotto installed on phones. Play in digital form has many advantages, you don't have to look for some point, because you can do everything regardless of the place, if only have access to the internet. An additional benefit of this type of play is the individual player's account. It will not change due to hand marking numbers on the form or the option "quick pick". Expanding the ticket with the Super Chance option additionally costs 2 PLN. With system play the final fee depends on how many numbers will be selected. With 6 the bet will cost 9 PLN, in the case of 7 - 31.50 PLN, and for 12 - 1188 PLN.

Initially all draws Mini Lotto were held exactly the same, as the standard draws Lotto, that is every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. In mid-April 2014 they were extended to Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and since December 2, 2015 they are held every day. In this game the winnings are fives, fours, and threes, in proportions recorded in the regulations. The entire prize pool is exactly half of the sum of bets paid by players, for this reason in each draw it may vary. For the draw in which there are prizes in all categories, then for the fives 50% of the prize pool is allocated, for the fours 20% and the threes 30%. When in the draw there is no five, then the fours receive 40% of the pool, and the threes the rest.
