History Mini Lotto is over four decades - the first draw took place at the end of March 1976. At that time the game was called differently, namely Express Lotek, and under this logo was present until 2009. It should also be mentioned, that the game in Mini Lotto was suspended in 1998 for two years, after which returned under player pressure. As statistics show, it still enjoys great interest, despite the fact, that the highest winnings are smaller than for example in Lotto. Smaller prize pools are due to the fact, that players pay a smaller stake for one bet, and due to the higher probability of winning which results from the drawn numbers and the number of balls. The basic rules game in Mini Lotto are clear and simple, they are very similar to those known from Lotto. The main difference is the total number of numbers to be marked, one bet is selecting five from the group 42. There are three ways to place bets, which ensures that this game will be available for every player. You can send your ticket at any stationary point, which can be found in practically every locality. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and in that situation they will be read and written on the ticket, you can also decide to bet on "quick pick". In this case all numbers are randomly selected by the machine in the point. On one form indicate up to a maximum of 10 bets, there are no restrictions related to the number of paid forms. Additionally when playing Mini Lotto players can use the Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number from the ticket. The Super Chance can be marked in the special place on the form.

Bets in Mini Lotto can also be placed on the Lotto.pl site and via the special application Lotto installed on smartphones. Play via the app and online has many advantages, you don't have to look for a stationary point, because you can do everything from anywhere, if you have access to the internet. The probability of hitting increases significantly with each additional number, because the total number of individual bets, which result from the combinations of the chosen numbers. For example a system consisting of 6 numbers translates into 7 single bets, composed of 7 numbers will be 21 single bets, and in the case of 12 numbers it will be as many as 792. During system play the amount of prizes is multiplied, because besides the one from hitting the most numbers an additional amount is added of higher tiers.

The simplest of bets for the Mini Lotto costs only 1.5 PLN, and you can play for an amount up to 400 thousand PLN. The bet costs are identical for every method of its purchase - it doesn't matter if it is the Lotto.pl site, dedicated application or stationary outlet. It will not change due to hand marking numbers on the form or the option "quick pick". Expanding the ticket with the Super Chance option costs an additional 2 PLN. With system play the final cost depends on how many numbers will be selected. In the case of 6 for the bet you will have to pay 9 PLN, with 7 - 31.50 PLN, and for 12 - 1188 PLN.

Initially draws of the Mini Lotto were held exactly the same, as the standard draws Lotto, that is on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Since mid-April 2014 they were extended to Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and since early December 2015 they are held every day. All players play mostly to win - so it is worth learning something more on this subject, how the prizes look like in Mini Lotto. In this game the winnings are fives, fours, and threes, in proportions established by the regulations. The total prize pool is exactly half of the sum of all bets, for this reason in each draw it may vary. If there are prizes in all categories, then for the fives 50% of the prize pool is allocated, for the fours 20% and the threes 30%. When in the specific draw no five fell, then the fours receive 40% of the total pool, and the threes the entire rest. The highest win so far was in 2015, and was about 366 thousand PLN, in the past there have also been several winnings of a value greater than 300 thousand PLN.
