The main rules Mini Lotto game are uncomplicated and simple, very similar to those known from Lotto. The main difference is the total number of numbers to be typed, one bet is selecting five out of 42. There are three ways to place bets, which ensures that this game will be available for practically every player. Tickets can be sent at stationary points, which can be found in practically every city. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and then they will be read and written on the ticket, you can also decide to bet "quick pick". In this case all numbers are randomly selected by the machine in the point. On the paper form you can indicate up to 100 bets, there are no restrictions related to the number of paid forms. Additionally when playing Mini Lotto you can use the Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number placed on the ticket. The Super Chance is marked in the special place on the form.

All bets in Mini Lotto can also be placed online and with the dedicated application Lotto on smartphones. Electronic play has many advantages, you don't have to look for a stationary point, because you can do everything from anywhere, if you have internet access. The chances of hitting increases significantly with each subsequent number, because the total number of simple bets, which result combinations of chosen numbers. For example a system of 6 numbers translates into 7 simple bets, 7 numbers will be 21 individual bets, and for 12 numbers it will be as many as 792. During system play the prizes are increased, because besides the one from hitting the most numbers an additional amount is added from the higher tiers.

The simplest of bets for Mini Lotto costs only 1.5 PLN, and you can play for an amount up to 400 thousand PLN. The bet costs are identical for every method of its placement - it doesn't matter if it is the online service, phone application or stationary outlet. It will not change due to hand filling the form or choosing the method random selection by machine. Expanding the ticket with the Super Chance option costs an additional 2 PLN. In the case of system play the final fee depends on how many numbers will be provided. In the case of 6 the bet will cost 9 PLN, with 7 - 31.50 PLN, and for 12 - 1188 PLN.

For the initial period draws of the Mini Lotto were held exactly the same, as draws Lotto, that is on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Since April 14, 2014 they were extended to Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and since December 2015 they are held daily. All players play to win some money - so it is worth learning something more on this subject, how the prizes look like in Mini Lotto. In this game the winnings are fives, fours, and threes, in proportions established by the regulations. The prize pool is fifty percent of the total sum of paid bets, therefore with each draw it will vary. When there are prizes in all categories, then for the only fives fifty percent of the prize pool is allocated, and for the fours and threes respectively 20% and 30%. If in the draw a five did not fall, then the fours receive 40% of the total pool, and the threes 60%.
