Complete history Mini Lotto is already over 40 years - the first official draw took place in the last days of March 1976. At that time the game was called differently, namely Express Lotek, and in this form it ran until 2009. Despite the name change the basic rules remained unchanged, and to this day players can try to win the money for the five drawn from forty-two numbers. It should also be mentioned, that the game Mini Lotto was suspended in 1998 for two years, but quite quickly returned under player pressure. As it turns out, it still enjoys great interest, despite the fact, that the prizes are smaller than for example in standard Lotto. Smaller prize pools are due to the fact, that players pay a smaller stake for single bets, and due to the higher probability of winning which results from the drawn numbers and the number of balls. The main rules Mini Lotto are extremely simple, very similar to those known from Lotto. The main difference is the number of numbers to be typed, one bet is marking five out of 42. There are three ways to place bets, which ensures that this game will be available for practically every player. You can send your ticket at any stationary point, which can be found in practically every locality. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and then they will be read and written on the ticket, and you can also decide to choose "quick pick". In this case all numbers are randomly selected by the machine in the point. On one form you can indicate up to 10 single bets, there are no restrictions related to the number of registered forms. Additionally playing Mini Lotto players can use the additional Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number placed on the ticket. The Super Chance is marked in the indicated place on the form.

Bets in Mini Lotto can also be placed on the Lotto.pl site and with the application Lotto on smartphones. Play in digital form has many advantages, you don't have to look for the nearest point, because you can do everything regardless of the place, if only have internet access. Another benefit of this type of play is the access to the personal account. On this account all bets are recorded all player bets, there are options to check the earlier history, and withdrawals and deposits of money. In the case of Mini Lotto with system play you can mark between 6 and 12 numbers, from general pool of 42. The probability of hitting increases significantly with each additional number, because the total number of individual bets, which result combinations of chosen numbers. For example 6 numbers in the system translates into 7 simple bets, a 7-number system will be 21 single bets, and in the case of 12 it is as many as 792. In the case of system play the amount of prizes is multiplied, because besides the one from hitting the most numbers an additional amount is added from the higher tiers.

Basic bet for Mini Lotto costs only 1.5 PLN, and you can even play up to 400 thousand PLN. The bet costs are the same regardless of the method of its conclusion - it doesn't matter if it is the Lotto.pl site, Lotto application or stationary point. It will not change due to hand marking numbers on the form or choosing the option random selection by device. Expanding the ticket with the Super Chance option costs an additional 2 PLN. With system play the final fee will depend on how many numbers will be marked. With 6 the bet will cost 9 PLN, with 7 - 31.50 PLN, and for 12 - 1188 PLN.

Players play mostly to win something - so it is worth learning something more about it, how the prize pool looks like in Mini Lotto. In this game the winnings are threes, fours, and fives, in proportions recorded in the regulations. The prize pool is exactly half of the sum of all bets, for this reason in each draw it will probably have a different amount. When there are prizes in each category, then for the fives 50% of the available prize pool is allocated, and for the threes and fours respectively 30% and 20%. When in the draw no five was drawn, then the fours receive 40% of the pool, and the threes the rest. The highest win so far was in 2015, and was over 366 thousand PLN, in the past there have also been several prizes in an amount greater than 300 thousand PLN.
