The main rules Mini Lotto are simple and clear, resembling those known to many people from Lotto. The main difference is the number of numbers to be typed, one bet is indicating five from the group 42. There are three methods to place bets, which ensures that the game is generally available for a very wide group. You can send your ticket at stationary points, which can be found in practically every city. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and in that situation they will be read and written on the ticket, you can also decide to bet on "quick pick". In this case all numbers are randomly selected by the machine in the point. On the paper form you can indicate up to 10 bets, there are no restrictions related to the number of registered forms. Additionally when playing Mini Lotto you can use the so-called Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number from the ticket. The Super Chance is marked in the indicated place on the form.

Bets in Mini Lotto can also be placed on the Lotto.pl site and with the dedicated application Lotto installed on phones. For example 6-number system translates into 7 single bets, composed of 7 numbers will be 21 single bets, and for 12 numbers it is as many as 792. The simplest of bets for the Mini Lotto costs only 1.5 PLN, and you can play for an amount up to 400 thousand PLN. The bet costs are identical for all methods of its conclusion - it doesn't matter if it is the online service, Lotto application or stationary point. It will not change due to hand filling the form or the option "quick pick". Expanding the ticket with the Super Chance option costs an additional 2 PLN. In the case of system play the final cost depends on how many numbers will be marked. In the case of 6 the bet will cost 9 PLN, in the case of 7 - 31.50 PLN, and for 12 - 1188 PLN.

For the initial period all draws of the Mini Lotto were held exactly the same, as draws Lotto, that is every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Since mid-April 2014 they were extended to Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and since December 2, 2015 they are held every day. Everyone probably plays mainly to win some prize - so it is worth learning something more on this subject, how the prize pool looks like in Mini Lotto. In this game the winnings are fives, fours, and threes, in proportions recorded in the regulations. The total prize pool is fifty percent of the total amount of paid bets, therefore in each draw it may have a different amount. If there are prizes in all categories, then for the only fives 50% of the prize pool is allocated, for the fours 20% and the threes 30%. But if in the specific draw a five was not drawn, then the fours receive 40% of the pool, and the threes the rest.
